What we back up and when
We take a daily backup of every hosting account with JetBackup 5, including files, databases, email and account settings, stored separately from the hosting server.
Retention
Daily backups are kept for 7 days, after which the oldest are deleted automatically.
Restoring
- Hosting plans: you can restore a file, folder, database, mailbox or the whole account yourself from JetBackup inside cPanel.
- Managed Site: we restore for you on request via WhatsApp or a ticket.
- Restores from daily backups are free on every plan.
Limits
Backups are an extra layer of protection, not an absolute guarantee against data loss. We recommend you keep your own copy of important data, especially before major changes. You can download a full backup of your account from cPanel at any time.
After termination
After an account is terminated, its backups remain until the retention period ends and are then permanently deleted. Request your copy before then, as described in the Cancellation & Renewal Policy.
