This policy protects every customer on our shared servers. Breaching it may lead to suspension or termination under the Terms of Service.
Prohibited content
- Anything illegal in the United States or in your country, or that infringes other people’s intellectual property rights.
- Any content that exploits or abuses children, in any form.
- Phishing, fake sites impersonating another organisation, or collecting login or card details.
- Malware, viruses and hacking tools, or any activity that attacks other systems.
- Incitement to violence, terrorism or hatred, threats or harassment.
- Selling prohibited goods or unlicensed medicines, or unlicensed gambling.
- Any use that breaches US sanctions laws.
Email and spam
- Sending unsolicited bulk email, or using purchased mailing lists, is not allowed.
- The limit is 100 messages per hour per domain. For large email campaigns, use a dedicated sending service.
Fair use of resources
- Each account is limited in CPU, memory, I/O and number of files by our infrastructure, up to 2 cores and 2 GB of memory.
- Hosting is for websites and their email. It may not be used to store backups of files unrelated to the site, to mine cryptocurrency, to run game or streaming servers, or to run constant background tasks.
- If your account affects server performance, we will contact you to suggest a fix or an upgrade.
How we handle breaches
We send a warning and give you reasonable time to fix the issue. We suspend immediately and without prior warning only for urgent risks: active malware, phishing, spam, attacks, child exploitation content, or a legal order. To report abuse, email support@startbigger.com.
