Al-Jummaiza Private School is a co-educational kindergarten and lower primary school in Amman, Jordan. We teach the Jordanian national curriculum with extra English lessons, and we make room for reading, play and hands-on work at every stage.
Admissions enquiries for the 2027/2028 school year are openOur admissions office will call you back and arrange a visit. How admissions work
The jummaiza is a sycamore fig, a tree with wide shade, and it gave us our name. We want a calm school where children learn at their own pace, and where parents know who teaches their child and how to reach them.
A fixed reading time in every class, and a classroom library in Arabic and English that changes every month.
Simple science experiments, planting in the school garden and art projects every term.
A weekly home-school notebook, a teacher meeting every term, and one number for admissions and the office.
We divide school years into three stages. Each card shows what pupils learn at that stage and an example of an ordinary school day.
Learning through play: letters and numbers in Arabic and English, stories, drawing and movement in the playground. The same teacher stays with the class all year.
A day in kindergartenReading, writing and arithmetic are the core of this stage, alongside science, English, art and sport. A short homework task each day, and a weekly update for parents.
A day in Grade 2Small projects in science and reading, lessons in the science lab and the computer room, and practice in organising study and working in groups.
A day in Grade 5A two-storey building with a shaded yard and a small garden. These are the spaces pupils use every week.
Books in Arabic and English, with a reading corner for the youngest.
Simple, safe experiments for Grades 4 to 6.
Drawing, modelling and crafts, with an exhibition at the end of each term.
A separate play area for kindergarten, apart from the main yard.
Weekly PE lessons and an after-school football club.
A nurse is on site all day and contacts parents when needed.

Photos on this website show the building and facilities only. The school publishes no photo in which a pupil appears without written consent from that pupil's parent, and parents can withdraw consent at any time.
Admission dates, open days and holidays. The school office posts them here first, then on its social accounts.

A tour of classrooms and facilities and a meeting with the stage coordinators, by appointment.
Sign up for clubs through the home-school notebook. Places in each club are limited.
Admissions start with a short enquiry from you, followed by a visit to the school. Your child's details and documents are handed in at the school, not through this website.
Leave your name, number and the stage you are asking about, or call the admissions office.
The office calls at the time you chose and books a visit to the school with you.
Tour the facilities, meet the stage coordinator, and let your child see the classroom.
Bring the required documents to the admissions office, where the pupil's file is opened.
School feesThe admissions office sends you the approved fee list for each stage when it contacts you, and what they cover, such as books, buses and activities.
School busesOur buses serve Tla' Al-Ali, Khalda, Um Al-Summaq and Jubeiha. For other areas, ask the admissions office.
Yes, the visit is part of admissions. We arrange it on school days by appointment, and on the open days we post in the news section.
That depends on the places available in each class. Ask the admissions office, which explains the admission conditions on the call.
The school announces Ramadan hours in the news section before Ramadan starts, and sends them home in the notebook.
The admissions office answers the phone and WhatsApp during office hours. Visits are by appointment.
