Growing what lasts with our neighbours: learning, care and a greener street

An elected board and volunteers from the neighbourhood run it, and we publish our reports and documents for everyone.

About us
Areesha was founded by a group of Jabal Al-Nuzha residents. It works with adult volunteers from the neighbourhood and with donations from individuals and partners. The general assembly takes decisions at an annual meeting, and an elected board carries them out.
Our vision
A neighbourhood where every home has someone to lean on, and everyone who can help has a way to give.
Our mission
We design small programmes close to people, run them with volunteers from the neighbourhood, and write down what we achieved and what we did not in a published annual report.
How we work
Board decisions are minuted, financial statements are audited every year, and an open complaints and suggestions channel is followed by an independent member.
Programmes and projects
Each programme serves a defined group on a fixed schedule. You join at our premises, and we do not collect beneficiaries' details through this website.
